Dudi Sela and Flavio Cipolla crowned TEB BNP Paribas Istanbul Open doubles champions after an exciting final.

First-time partners Dudi Sela and Flavio Cipolla lifted the TEB BNP Paribas Istanbul Open doubles trophy defeating Argentine duo Diego Schwartzman/Andres Molteni after a thrilling final 6-3, 5-7, 10/7.

Israeli-Italian pair were in full comfort in the first before moving ahead 5-3 in second. At this moment Sela and Cipolla missed four match point opportunies, as Schwartzman/Molteni won four straight games to reach 7-5 and took it to the match tie-break.

Sela and Cipolla, competing in their first-ever doubles final, were too strong for South Americans in the deciding game. After 1 hour and 27 minutes, they completed the final with a 10/7 match tie-break to grab their maiden doubles title.

23-year-old Schwartzman, who was in-line for second triumph in Istanbul, couldn’t avoid the doubles final loss, but still is a happy man finishing his adventure with singles championship, and doubles runner-up trophy.
