Robert Lindstedt and Dominic Inglot claim second team title defeating top seeds Ben McLachlan/Nicholas Monroe 3-6, 6-3, 10/8 in the TEB BNP Paribas Istanbul Open final.

Despite the rain, everything was under control at the Garanti Koza Park thanks to the retractable roof as the experienced duo Robert Lindstedt and Dominic Inglot marched to the title upsetting top seeds in the final.

Knocking out no. 4 and no. 2 seeds respectively on the road to the final, 2015 US Open semi-finalists Lindstedt and Inglot lost the opener 6-3 against McLachlan/Monroe, but displayed a strong performance in the second taking.

They turned the things around winning the second 6-3 to take the encounter to a match tie-break. Swedish/British pair got the better of McLachlan/Monroe in the crucial game, going up 5/1 and 9/6 ahead before clinching the title on their third match point: 10/8

After 1 hour and 23 minutes, Lindstedt and Inglot were celebrating their second team crown following 2015 Winston Salem.
