The draw ceremony was held at the Garanti Koza Park where the TEB BNP Paribas Istanbul Open celebrates its fourth year.
Being a part of the ATP World Tour calendar since 2015, it’s the long-awaited week for the TEB BNP Paribas Istanbul Open and the draw ceremony of the tournament took place at the Koza World of Sports The Club with the participation of Turkish Tennis Federation President Cengiz Durmus; Tournament Director Yavuz Selek; Turkish pro Cem Ilkel and Bernard Tomic of Australia.
Top four seeds, Croatian Marin Cilic, Bosnian Damir Dzumhur, Italian Andreas Seppi and Slovenian Aljaz Bedene got a bye consecutively into the second round while Turkey’s own Cem Ilkel will face no. 5 seed Italian Paolo Lorenzi in the first round. Another Turkish wildcard Marsel Ilhan will meet Malek Jaziri of Tunisia.
On the doubles, Turkish duo Tuna Altuna/Anıl Yuksel will face top seeds Ben Mclachlan/Nicholas Monroe while local player Cem Ilkel alongside Australian partner Bernard Tomic will meet no. 3 seeds Ken/Neal Skupski.
This year marks the fourth year of Garanti Koza Park’s hosting for the tournament as the main draw matches kick off on Monday, April 30 and fans can expect plenty of the excitement until the final day of the tournament, Sunday May 6.
